Mexican Heroes, sculpted in Clay by Pilar Hernandez. We found several boxes of her work on a back shelf in a back stock room of our Gallery in Mesilla, NM. They had been sitting there since 2005 and we are selling them at the same prices we sold them at then, $42.95 and $49.95 each. They are available on our website only, www.delsolstores.com. We have been unable to obtain any of her work since 2005 and these are very collectible. We have a very limited quantity available.
I met the Hernandez family many years ago at a show in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. They were wonderful people and I admired their work for the quality and for the accuracy. They are very proud of the history of their country.
